1. The Ghost of Canaletas
You probably already know that the Canaletes Fountain is where FC Barcelona celebrates its victories. However, it hides a paranormal story.
This is the ghost of Canaletas. It was 1845, and back then, it was common for women to go to the fountain to collect water. Legend says that a specter wrapped in a shroud appeared to the young women who went to fill their jugs at the fountain. When the news broke, it is said that 200 men armed with clubs began to track it down. Since then, it has not appeared again, or so they say…
2. Scary Metro Stations: The Curse of Rocafort
For a time in the 1960s, no TMB employee wanted to guard the Rocafort metro station at night. Those who stayed claimed to have noticed "strange presences." Apparently, during that decade, the Rocafort station became a popular suicide spot. To make matters worse, years before, the station had been used as a wartime shelter. All of this led people to believe that the souls of all those who perished there remained, wandering aimlessly and lamenting their misfortune. Terrifying!
