Sant Jordi always fills Barcelona with books, roses, and people in the streets. But in 2026, the city is once again offering a parallel plan that many overlook: access to some of its most emblematic viewpoints and spaces without paying an entrance fee.

Free viewpoints: Barcelona from above

This year, some of the city's viewpoints will open for free to those named Jordi, Jordina (and variants), turning Sant Jordi into an opportunity to rediscover Barcelona from a different perspective.

One of the most outstanding is the Columbus Monument, located at the end of Las Ramblas. On April 23rd, it will offer free access to the viewpoint, allowing visitors to admire the city from its height of over 60 meters, with views of the port and the coastline.

If you want to enjoy the views, just go to the viewpoint between 10 am and 7:30 pm (last entry), and show your ID that your name is Jordi or Jordina.

This initiative is joined by other lesser-known spaces that also take center stage for the day. These are viewpoints that usually go unnoticed, but on Sant Jordi's Day offer the perfect excuse to admire the city at a leisurely pace.

Among them is the Torre Glòries viewpoint (formerly Torre Agbar), one of Barcelona's newest panoramic viewpoints. In this case, there's a 2-for-1 offer, valid until April 27th. You can also take advantage of this offer by showing your ID.

Sagrada Família: free entry for Jordis and Jordines

As every year, the Sagrada Família joins the celebration with a very specific initiative: free entry on April 23 for all people named Jordi, Jordina and variants.

Access is also permitted with a companion, although it is necessary to book the ticket in advance through the official website, as places are limited.

This is one of the most popular offers of the day, as it provides the opportunity to visit one of Barcelona's most iconic spaces free of charge and on a particularly significant date.
